Wedding Blessing

Jim and Faye Lovvorn recently visited Fotheringhay Church to have their wedding vows renewed.  Rev Anne Hindle conducted the service.

Faye, first visited Fotheringhay Church while her father was stationed at RAF Alconbury in 1970.  Faye’s  dream was to be married at the church, however she and he husband Jim were unable to make that happen and in 1974 they were married in Texas.

Jim’s gift to Faye after 44 years of marriage to make her long awaited dream come true and so they had their wedding vows renewed there in early May this year.

To quote Jim; “Fotheringhay Church will always have a special place in our hearts.”
